Canadian Queen's University's Human Media Lab researchers have developed world's first flexible smartphone.
It uses sensors to simulate flipping of pages & playing games without touching the screen. The phone is named ReFlex, which has multi-touch with bend inputs. This allows users to experience physical tactile feedback through bend gestures.
Roel Vertegaal of the Human Media Lab said, “This represents a completely new way of physical interaction with flexible smartphones. Users can feel the sensation of the page moving through their fingertips through a detailed vibration of the phone."
